This and that
I have different things tumbling around in my brain about what to write today. But, I think instead of a topic today, I will just free form write. Strap on your seatbelts youve just entered a scarey ride, my brain!
First a shout out to my Aunt Terrie. I now have another person addicted to my blog. She told me she doesnt like it when I dont blog so Im going to try once again to blog more regularly. I had fun talking to her last night on IM. She is such a wonderful Godly woman with great ideas and insight! Thank you Aunt Terrie.
Im not sure Ive blogged about my children's vocational dreams so here goes. Ava wants to be a bow-boy (cowboy) and Olivia wants to be a space girl. While we were in Colorado we saw several people with cowboy hats. Ava pointed and said a bow-boy. We even talked to a man in the grocery store with a bow-boy hat on. I think it made Ava's day. She told me yesterday that she wants a bowboy hat, bowboy shoes and bowboy pants. Can I just how cute she is!
Ava kept telling me that I wanted to be a budda. She has a little cold so on top of her awful pronunciation I just couldnt understand her. I asked her do you mean brother? NO! Finally after many attempts to understand her, Olivia said no she said Spider. OH thank goodness Olivia understands her!
Olivia asked me what I want to be when I grow up and I said a Mommy. She said no you are a mommy but you have to grow up! I said fine, than I will be a teacher. No she said Mrs. Young is a teacher. I said well I used to teach kids numbers. That seemed to satisfy her.
I, too, am an avid reader of your blog and I don't like it when you don't blog often. I loved today's blog. You make life seem like so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat precious faces! Next time skip the frustration and go straight to Olivia for translation. It sounds like her gift. I loved talking to you too!
