Makeover

Apparently my girls had beauty shop time without me today! Ava found my new tube of lipstick and put it on her face and neck and cheeks and don't forget the couch. I just bought this lipstick. I rarely wear lipstick but I found this kind that I love because it smells good and it really moisturizes my lips. Yesterday I put it on multiple times which will probably floor my family.

After her new makeup Olivia decided a new haircut for Ava would definitely go with the lipstick. Thank the Lord Olivia only cut a 4inch section off the top of Ava's head but I was livid. There Ava was, laying on the floor still as could be letting Olivia cut her hair. Seriously folks I cut her bangs last month and she was NEVER that still for me!

What has today taught me? Perhaps I am spending too much time on the computer and away from my girls! Ya think?

Don't be too hard on them. I always told my kids, "Only professionals or Mommy are allowed to use sissors on hair. And maybe someday when you are a mommy or a professional you will be allowed to use sissors too!" Professionals is a great word isn't it???

  2. In my "pre-parenthood fantasy" I would have agreed that you are spending too much time on the computer. Now in the real life and real experiences I know that these mishaps take seconds to happen. Kids are quick to get in trouble and slow to get out of their car seats!

I love the part about Ava laying still for her hairdresser. That cracks me up!

  3. Oh.My.God.

I would be livid, too. Though when Erin cut her own hair and realized that she wouldn't be able to wear a ponytail, she was so upset that Aaron didn't need to yell at her! :)

    Hang in there, Momma!

  4. I think what is the most hysterical part of this post is that you complain about the lipstick being ruined, but not the couch. Priorities :)
