Let it snow!
It started snowing late Friday/early Saturday. Initially we got 1-2" with the promise of more. The girls were so excited to go and play in the snow. My objective for the day was to build a snowman. At first Olivia wanted nothing to do with the building project. Ava, my little trooper, was all about it. While I was rolling the first ball, Ava kept bringing over little bits of snow to add. By the middle of the 2nd ball, Olivia was all about it. The first and second balls were relatively easy. The head was kind of hard. I ran inside to get a hat, scarf, etc for the little guy. While I was in the house the girls had accidentally pushed over the middle and top. Great I have to rebuild it. Finally we got it all done.
After the snowman we had a snowball fight and made snow angels!
Then last night we got our 2nd wave of snow and got an additional 4 more inches. Our little snowman got all covered up. Here are some pictures I took just as the heaviest snow was ending. Notice the snowman doesnt look the same. We had to dig out to find the hat etc.
Tonight we went out and it was quite funny to see the girls walking in it and falling down. I mean it was 6" of snow!
