Oh Christmas Tree

We went out yesterday and purchased our first official Christmas tree. I tell you what, Garden Ridge was beyond crazy. I really feel like I just pointed at a tree and said that one, in hopes that it would look nice when we put it up. The girls were excellent help getting out of the box and setting it up. The decorating part not so much but I was determined to have fun doing it anyway.

We have not seen our Christmas decoration for over 2 years so it is always fun to see what we have. We need to add more ornaments for the girls this year. I think Dylan's ornaments outnumber the girls by 1 or 2 still.

I am always thankful for this time of year, to reflect on how far God has brought us. I also love to think of the love He has for us. Christmas is about children and how much I wish to shower my love on my children. How awesome to think that God loves us that much and even more to send His only Son to die on the cross for us! Think about it!
