Like sand through the hour glass. . .
. . .these are the days of our lives. I really think that when I dont blog everyday I lose events. Like my brain is a big sieve and I just lose random cuteness of my girls. Of course right now I am listening to them scream/cry themselves to sleep and that certainly isnt helping the cuteness or the stories of the day.
Today we went to Monkey Joe's. They say they have areas for 3 and under but Ava is in denial that she is 2 and a teeny shrimp. Even though she was under 2lbs at birth that has never deterred at any time. Olivia on the other hand has too much fear so having a fearless sister is always helpful. Believe me I have first hand knowledge of this as well with my sis. As you can see from the pics Ava climbed up into high places with next to no problems. When she would have issues somehow there was always an older kid to help her out. Olivia also finally got brave to do some of these things as well.
Ava is front of the little girl in yellow.
Ava is on the left side once again in front of someone in yellow.
This is one of the few times both girls were actually in the same place. I was going crazy keeping track of both of them!
During this time we happened on a little boy named Logan. Olivia was doing her freak out from 0 to 60 in the bounce house. She was at the very back so I was attempting to coax her out. Logan helped her out. When he came out I think he was trying to let me know that he was an upstanding litle boy. He said "My mom has a pink shirt on and her name is Cheryl. I dont know my phone number but I do know my friends number. Thank you so much Logan but he wasnt done helping. He helped Ava through this obstacle course and slid down with her and he took her on a tall slide too. Later on I happened upon him again talking to a lady in a pink shirt. Let's just say pink was the color of the day. I had a pink shirt on as well as many of the other mothers. I asked "Are you Logan's mom?" She confirmed she was and said that Logan was 6 and liked to help others. No wait, I think her exact response was "He's certainly a piece of work." Anyway Logan was may knight in 6 yr old armor for sure!
Getting the girls out of MJ's was quite fun as well. We went to McD's afterwards because I am a cool Mom (Olivia told me so). I just want to tell you that this particular McDs we went to must be a great place to work. Middle of the noon lunch hour crowd and both ladies I spoke to greeted me with a SMILE! That just doesnt happen every day.
