25 Random Things + 1

I have seen this floating around on Facebook and have been tagged so many times. Here are my answers.

1. I grew up and lived in the same house until I went to college. My parents only recently moved.

2. All my years in school were spent in the same town. When I visit that town I never seen any one I know!

3. I was a high school math teacher for 8 years.

4. It has been 5 years since I taught.

5. I have been married to Jim for 11 1/2 years.

6. I have 3 children although you will only meet 2 here on this earth.

7. My son Dylan is definitely my best behaved child although I do get upset with him for choosing heaven. I still love him dearly.

8. Dylan would have been 7 this March. He was born at 25 weeks and weighed 1 lb 2 oz. He lived for 5 days.

9. My daughter Olivia just turned 5. She was born at 26 weeks and was 1 lb 7 oz.

10. My daughter Ava is almost 4 and was born at 27 weeks. She was 1lb 6 oz.

11. My body doesn't really like any extra people in it. Pre-eclampsia is not a fun thing but apparently it likes me a whole lot.

12. While my kids were born early, we have been very blessed that they have turned out so healthy.

13. Olivia still gets Physical and Occupational Therapy but she is excelling!

14. Olivia is now taking dance and wants to be a ballerina!

15. Ava is my super physical child who will climb up on ANYTHING!

16. Back to me, I love to read.

17. I am reading some historical fiction about World War II and more specifically about the Jews. It is a series of books called the Zion Covenant by Brock and Bodie Thoene.

18. I have just started working out and I can't believe this but I really like it.

19. My college roommate Kristi would never believe I like to work out. I was a skinny girl in college and she tried to tell me that I wouldn't be skinny all my life. I wish I had listened to her!

20. I really like to shop on the internet.

21. I enjoy making new friends and I really love my MOPS group!

22. I am very close to my parents and talk to at least one of them once a day.

23. My sister is one of my very best friends!

24. I am a super positive person who almost always sees the best in people.

25. I am glad to have good friends like Jill and Karen who helped through the hardest thing in life when I lost my son.

26. This is one extra but it is the most important thing to me. I love Jesus with all my heart!
