Shout out to my sister

After having more than a week of daily posts I feel like my creative well is dry. My sister asked me to write a post about bloglines.com. It is a time saver when it comes to surfing all the blogs I enjoy. Stephanie likes it too and apparently one of her teacher friends asked her all about it. Funny enough its not that complicated but since I set up Steph's account she would rather me write about it. My apologies to those who have another blog feeder or are already a bloglines pro.

After going to bloglines you first need to set up an account which is basically an email address and a password. If you click on the feeds tab at the top left you can start adding the blogs you regularly read. To add a blog you click on add and type in the blog address in the box. You will have several feed options and I generally click on the one that has the most subscribers or the first one. I'm not sure what all the options are about so I just do whats most popular.

I will confess that I have 67 blogs in my bloglines. Not all of those post regularly so its not too overwhelming. There have been times when I am on vacation or out of town and come back to too many blogs to read. The blogs that have new posts are highlighted and you click on them to read what they have to say. If there are too many to read I just click on mark all as read.
