Our new friend!

Because our life is quite exciting enough with 2 preschoolers, we are adding a new puppy to the mix. (Yes I know, I am crazy!)

A lady in Jim's office had a litter of pure bred miniature Eskimo puppies. They had 7 males. We've done the whole dog thing before we had kids. In fact it was all my idea to get a dog then. This time its Jim's idea and I'm the one that is a little gun shy. I mean come on, I have way more responsibilities these days then I used to.

We went over to Jennifer and Byron's house Saturday to look at the puppies. They are like little fur balls, so cute and cuddly. The girls warmed up to them quickly and we were all holding and playing with one. They are only 3 weeks old so choosing one was pretty hard. They are almost all identical. Our little guy is going to be named Shelby. We picked him out and put an identifying string around his neck. Olivia held him for the longest time and bonded with him. There was a Disney movie on the TV. Olivia said "Whats going to happen next Shelby?"

We will add Shelby to our house in about 4 to 5 weeks. He will be bigger but they aren't huge dogs and I tried to pick the smallest one. I did make sure to say multiple times before we left their house, that we are only getting one puppy to share!
