Dylan's a big boy now!

Today is Dylan's 6th birthday. Unfortunately he isnt celebrating here at home but he is having chocolate cake with the angels and Jesus. I can only imagine all the things he might be interested in or how he might deal with his sisters. I often say that Dylan is my most well behaved child but that is so not fair! I just wanted the chance to take care of him even if he were a holy terror!

Today is not a sad day but one of celebration. I have been a mom for 6 years today. How exciting is that? Jim loved that baby boy so much and sat hours by his little isolette.

Perhaps the girls and I will make a cake and celebrate their big brother. Olivia has decided she wants to be a space girl so she can go to heaven and see Dylan and Jesus. I told her you dont have to be a space girl to go to heaven. All you have to do is love Jesus with all your heart and when you come to the end of your life you will go to heaven and see Jesus and Dylan. That seemed an ok answer so she said she will be a Christian space girl! Did I mention I love her so much!

Thank you Dylan for teaching us how to be parents in your short life on earth. Thank you for saving your sister's lives. For 5 days you were heaven on earth! We love you!

Let's see...starting my day with tears. Guess that is ok, it has rained all night and is still raining. But I remember Dylan too. He was an unbelievable baby. How can anything that small be human. Yet he was in every way. He sure has, and IS, teaching us a lot! He's another reason to be sure we make heaven - space girl or not.

Thank you, Dylan, for all you have and are teaching us.

I love you Jim, Kari, Olivia, and Ava.

    "It was just one hug,and
It was just one kiss, but
    I'll love you through Eternity!"

What sweet remembrances of that special time 6 yrs ago. What a sweet tiny hand that held my finger. He was a spunky little boy with strong precious parents. Dylan, you changed us all. See you later baby doll! Happy Birthday!

    Love & hugs,
    Mimi/MOM

I believe that he would want to celebrate what he brought to your life. I am happy that it is a celebration for your family. I'm wishing him a happy birthday.

I bet Dylan is really proud of his Mom for being such an awesome role model for her girls. You are made of some pretty strong stuff. God bless you all.

P.S. I guess Dylan wanted to give his sisters an extra snow day on his birthday.
