Friday Fun!
When last we met together my fine readers we were insanely headed for the park and chuck e cheese. A short update of that day: lots of fun and not too much craziness. As for the longer version hang on and hold on tight!
We first went to Target to get a birthday present for Sophia. Olivia is 3 so she is too big for the cart and of course Ava didn't want one either. Mommy was in a great hurry but decided fine, no cart. We hustled? back to the toy department where the girls were really good about not touching everything. We picked out a toy and on we went to the card section. The trip was easier than I had imagined and then we went to the parking lot. Both girls fell down in the parking lot which both required a band aid. Too fun!
On to the park. The girls had a great time and Olivia immediately hit it off with one of the older girls Elizabeth who is 5. Olivia kept calling her Emily. I think she got that from Clifford who's owner's name is Emily Elizabeth. It was time to be on our way so we said goodbye to our friends. Olivia said "This is a terrible day!" Why Olivia? "Because I have to leave Elizabeth!" Oh my!
We got to Chuck E Cheese before our friends so we waited. Finally they appeared and the fun began. They have a TV studio set up so the kids can be on TV. Let's just say Olivia loved that part more than the games. A star is born! After we ate we headed over to play games. My girls are just too little to enjoy this part although Ava liked to climb on everything like the jet ski video games etc. At one point Ava was completely missing. As soon as you come into the place they stamp your arm and your children's arm and they don't let you leave unless the stamps match so I knew that Ava had to be in there. Finally a couple pointed out to me that a little bitty blond girl had climbed up the slide into the tunnels. Fortunately one of the older girls with us went up and got Ava down. Thank the Lord she was found and I didn't have to go up there!
All this time Olivia was wearing panties and insisted that she didn't need to go potty. When we finally got home at 330pm her pants were still dry and she pottied. I was very proud of her!
