We Made It!

We went back to my parents on Monday to a devestating scene. The trees were so iced over they were either laying on the ground or had broken off the trees. There were about 4 huge limbs on their house. They finally got power just as we walked in which was such an answer to prayers.

We were able to load up and we got away about 3pm. The roads were in pretty good condition and we drove to Wichita, Ks. We didnt get too far but at least we were on our way.

Yesterday was a long drive and I think the girls were going crazy without getting out. The temperature ranged from 11 to 24 F. We arrived here about 4:30 pm Mountain Time and got all of our stuff inside the apartment. The apartment is very nice with floor to ceiling windows on the 28th floor.

And now we are settling in to our new digs. Olivia has already made a new friend. We were in the elevator last night and a gentleman got on. Olivia said "Hi Whats your name?" He said Im Mike, Whats your name. She said Olivia. When the guy got off he said bye Olivia
