Flying into Cali

Well today Jim is flying into Cali to meet with the partners there. I am excited for him but I couldnt help but a little teary all day yesterday. My dad keeps telling me how great it is but he thinks Jims job is in Tulsa. Thanks Dad but dont tell me, tell God! Last night he finally said, well if this works out you do have a great uncle there. I took that as a complete u-turn in his thoughts (maybe not his prayers anyway.) Of course Jim is excited as he should be! He is flying there today and coming back tomorrow. Which means a night in a hotel alone and airports. He did well with the airport the other day and now we throw a hotel in the mix. He is staying at the same hotel as the guy he met in Dallas so I think thats good. And hes having breakfast with me. On Monday he comes home and will stay at the Oxford house so hopefully those thins will help him stay sober.

On a side note: Ava is pulling up to her knees. She finds all kinds of things to use to pull up. Mind you that child is not sitting independently. She is a riot!! Oh and she slept from 1030 till 5 am this morning. I am utterly amazed!
