Potty Time

I think I have written at great length about Olivia and her potty training. The plan last year was to train both girls at the same time. Ava seemed to be willing at the time but turned her nose up at the whole process. Olivia has since gotten very good at it. Woo hoo!

We had a friend and her little girls over and the youngest used our little potty chair. Since that day Ava has regained interest in it. She uses it every day although she is not to the point to stay dry. I am just happily encouraging it and then this summer we will ramp up the process and get some big girl panties for her.

It would be an incredible dream not to have buy pull ups after all these years (4). I just think back to when Olivia came home. We were buying diapers and Preemie formula every week. Before Ava came home I think I had a few months with no formula. Then Ava came home and she was using even more diapers and more formula then Olivia was.

I guess I say all that to say, when I look at the price of milk, $4 a gallon, it is way cheaper than $30 a week on formula. We buy pull ups less frequently but what a dream to not buy them at all. Its coming, oh yes I can see it on the horizon! However, there is always something else to take the place of what I am spending like preschool for 2.

Growing up is fun!
