Visiting Friends

Yesterday we drove to visit our Jill and her girls in Illinois, which is about a 40 minute drive. Jill's house is a fun place for kids because she has lots of toys. The girls played downstairs and then upstairs in the playroom and then outside in the pool/slip & slide. The pool had a built in slide which the girls liked. Olivia always cautiously went down on her tummy feet first. Ava went down the normal way and then eventually went on her tummy head first. I took some pics and some video which I will upload later today.

Olivia loved the pool but wanted nothing to do with the slip & slide. The biggest reason she didnt like it was kind of like a sprinkler. Apparently water in the pool is fine but not shooting out and around. Ava loved the slip and slide as she loves all things with water.

Other stories: Olivia likes to play dr. She found a lanyard (goes around your neck holds keys etc.) She used this to check Avas beatheart. Ava was a good patient as she layed very still on the piano bench as Olivia checked her out. Olivia decided it was Ava;s turn to be the dr so she tried to put the lanyard on Ava. Ava wanted nothing to do with it so Olivia decided to bite her! I caught this and put her in time out. After a few minutes Ava came over to where Olivia was and I heard Olivia say "I'm sorry I bit you Ava. I won't hurt you again." And then they hugged! It was such a sweet moment!
