The First Day of Kindergarten

Here is all about Olivia's first day of Kindergarten according to her.

Mr. Joe was her morning bus driver. She said she was the only 1 on the bus. (Not sure about that.) She left her cute hat on the bus (and worried about it all day.) Someone met her bus at school and helped her to her class.

In Mrs. A's class they made a rainbow on the carpet with their bodies. (They sat in a semi-circle.) Her friend sat in a chair because she didn't know. After the story her friend raised her hand. The story was the Kissing Hand. They made very cute hand prints.

She played on the playground with her new friend.

She saw her preschool friend on her way to the bus. Mrs. A walked her to the bus.

On the way home she talked to a teacher on the bus who just wanted to ride the bus.

(Teacher said they had a great conversation & that Olivia had a great day.)

I am sure they did other things but this is what Olivia remembers.

(When the bus pulled up this morning, Mr. Joe had her hat!)
