Ava the Artist
Ava has always enjoyed art. Before she started pre-school last year she declared "I want to go to preschool and paint." I am almost sure that every day she went she painted. You could definitely see a progression over the year, which concluded by every square of paper painted.
Lately the girls have been coloring at home. Olivia will put one thing on the page and then move on to the next sheet. Ava will work a long time on 1 sheet of paper.
This weekend we are going to see Jim's family and particularly his newest niece Alice. The girls have been almost obsessed with drawing pictures of her or for her. Below you will find Ava's rendition. Keep in mind she is 4 and I am her mother but I am impressed. What do you think?

It's just like playing the piano, the more you play, the better you are. Keep those pictures coming, someday you will even figure them out. I do love the colors and the progression of them, either in circles (a definite pattern) or in arcs (again, a definite pattern).
ReplyDeleteI love it! Thanks for sharing the sweet artist's creations. I like the happiness in the colors, and I'm very impressed that there is a front and an inside of the card that coordinate.
