Ramblings
Ok, so when I think about blogging I am just not inspired; sad but true. I guess I am not awake either at the moment so nothing is jumping into my mind after that last sentence. When I talk to friends or family they ask "How are the girls doing?" My typical response is great. Let me think if I can come up with a more detailed report.
Olivia absolutely loves preschool. She is making such incredible strides. She is recognizing words left and right. It amazes me. She loves looking at the calendar every day and insists I mark off the day that has already past. While Olivia was looking at it this morning she asked "Does this say Tax Day?" Wow, she is amazing.
Olivia also has been pretty successful at wearing her Secret Power Shoes. These are AFOs that fit in her shoes that help with her balance etc. When she walks, she rolls her feet to the insideand the inserts correct that. While she sometimes says the inserts hurt her feet, she is doing great with them!
Ava is actually starting to talk to her preschool teacher! This is a huge step for her! She loves to paint and does so every time she's in preschool. When she paints, she does not miss a speck of paper. Her paintings sometimes have to dry for a week before she can bring them home!
Ava loves her pull ups, so much so that she doesn't want to wear panties. This is absolutely driving me crazy. Babies all around her are potty training and nothing I can do or say entices her! I do know that eventually she will be potty trained. It would just be great to know what date in the futre that occurs so I can rest a little easier!
I continue to enjoy exercising which amazes me. I have been working out about 3 or 4 days a week since January! More than losing weight, my body has really toned up. Although it would be really helpful to see the scale continue to go down! PLEASE!
Jim is working on some really great business stuff. It's awesome but requires long hours. That really drives me crazy!
I realize this reads like some crazy Christmas letter so I will close with Feliz Navidad!
You live such a charmed life. I love the progress Olivia is making from "head to toe." And Ava is such a good artist (like her Mimi). Jim is doing great and making a great living for you all. Just seems there is no reason to allow anyone to drive you crazy. Instead of "going crazy", stay home enjoy your life, and let the Lord show you how to work with Ava and her pull ups, and how to guide Jim to productive work AND time away with the family. With your creativity, I am sure you can write a book to help others with such issues. I love you and am so very proud of you!
