Funny Ava

Last month we went to Creation Station with our play group. They always have interesting crafts and Ava really wanted to make this particular one. The lady had Ava take a ladies ribbedsock and stuff it with paper towels. The cuff became the hat and Ava colored eyes, nose smile and buttons to make a cute snow man. Now to make a sleigh for the snow man. The lady already had crafted a little box made of a paper sack. All Ava had to do was add pillow stuffing to the box to make snow. It was a cute little craft and as you can tell from the pictures, Ava was very proud of it.

It just happened to be one of those days where it was warmer in the morning and suddenly became cold. The suddenly also came with gusty winds. We get almost to the car with the beloved craft when the wind whips up. I had my reservation about the poly fill but only thought it would be all over my house. Now the poly fill was all over the parking lot and in the leaves. Ava was crying for her 'no'. I got her in the car and ran after that darned poly fill. Thank you very much I got every last piece!
