Festival in Town

We went last night to our local park where there is a festival this weekend. You know the kind, lots of food, fun and music. We probably had the most fun listening to the music of Motown Fanfare!

Ava used this time as running around and away from Mommy as fast as possible. The concert was in an outdoor amphitheater. Ava would run in front of the people seated. As I ran for her one time I asked the people seated there if they would just say something to her because it would scare her and she would come back. They were all such great sports and every time she ran over there my new "friends" would do their job and back would come Ava. Through out the night she got braver and braver. There were some very nice ladies sitting behind us who suggested that if she continued to do that strap her in the stroller. Hello, why didn't I think of that. She was strapped 3 different times in the stroller and cried something fierce.

It really was a fun time even though I chased and chased and chased. Olivia and Ava enjoyed dancing to the music!
