Hello September

So I see it's been almost a month since I've blogged. Ava is now in pre-K which adds to the chaos of our home. I am a little sad to share her with preschool as she is the best kid to hang out with. I mean seriously Ava is always happy unless she is hungry or tired.

This month we have road tripped to Atlanta for Jim's sister's wedding. Can I just say that was an absolute blast! The weather was great, the party was great and we just had a great time!

Last week during an unfortunate squabble between the girls, Ava pushed Olivia off the kitchen stool. This generally does not alarm me as it happens more often than I wished. What alarmed was the large drops of blood on the kitchen floor. I immediately gave Olivia a paper towel and then asked to see the injury. It was a very deep cut and scared me. Off to Urgent Care we went. Olivia received 6 stitches and even fell asleep during the procedure.
Fast forward a week and picture day for kindergarten. We got the stitches out the day before that and some how I just thought everything would be fine. OF course the wound still has to heal but it does look much better.
