Picnic in the Park

Yesterday was actually a sunny day. It also happened to be the day I realized that Ava is giving up her nap. She doesn't even do rest time well. Instead of nap, I packed our bologna sandwiches and headed to the park. That sounds too simple, here's more.

I had this great all American idea that I would also take the dog with me. Our park is just over half a mile from our house. The catch is, its on a busy street. Shelby isn't used to walking very far on the leash yet and the cars scare him. I load the girls up in the double stroller and then I fought Shelby to walk away from the traffic. It led to me putting said dog on the canopy of the stroller.

We had a great time eating and then we watched the ducks. One of the best times was when we were sitting on the bench by the pond. The girls had their sticks and they were fishing.
