The weekend in review

Thursday the girls and I headed for Tulsa. We were able to stop and bring lunch to my grandparents. My grandpa had just been released from the hospital after surgery. The girls enjoyed playing in their backyard. Its been a while since they have had that freedom which makes me even more eager for our new house. My grandpa was feeling pretty good although I think he got some much needed rest after we left!

Friday I boxed hopefully all my stuff that was at my parents house and took it to stoarge in Tulsa. The movers will be moving all of it to St. Louis next week! My mom, grandmother and the girls went and visited Ray and Alice while Dad and I did the heavy lifting. (Thanks Dad!) After we finished we had a lovely visit with Ray and Alice and a great lunch! (Thanks Ray and Alice!) When we got home from Tulsa my sister and her little girl were at my parents house! All of the girls loved playing together. Ava now says "Wheres Na-Nin?" (Caitlyn!) Stephanie already wrote about the girls sleeping together but it was fun and terrible all at the same time.

Saturday while the girls napped Stephanie and I took mom for a mani/pedicure for her birthday. Stephanie and I had pedicures too! Stephanie laughed so hard while they scrubbed her feet. It was great enertainment. While mom finished up her beauty treatment Stephanie and I played skee ball at the arcade. Its always nice to act like a kid again! For lunch we went to a great tea room for a quick lunch. Back at home the little girls were awake and the big girls took a nap. After our nap a man from my dads church (Brother Davis) invited us to see his baby horses. The girls really enjoyed that. After that we headed to eat barbecue. Olivia continuously asked "Where are going next?" finally she asked it SLOWER and LOUDER. That makes me so proud because she now has the skill to be a teacher!

Sunday was my mothers birthday so we decorated the dining room with balloons, made a cake etc. Olivia was greatful for that because thats what everyone needs for their birthday. A couple days earlier Olivia was saying we have no cake or balloons your birhtday is RUINED. I told her lets not say that word anymore. We went to church and then had a nice dinner with cake etc.

Monday Jim asked if we would come home because he was lonely without us, so we loaded up the car and headed home. We had a great weekend with pictures to follow for sure!

  1. Ahhh! You failed to tell the whole story of My Place. Remember, I said we were going to eat a rib. And Olivia said, "I want my rib back." Of course, all the girls said and did such cute and funny things. We sure had a great weekend, and enjoyed all 5 of our girls so very much.
