Mini vacation!

Jim and I are in ST. Louis on a somewhat mini vacation all be it working vacation. The girls are staying with Mimi and Papa while Jim and I look at houses and get settled into our temporary apartment. I will fly back Sunday and bring them here next week.

The trip here was so quiet and we listened to big people music the whole way, (no videos!) I even got to get my own treats from the convenience stores. Its been quite a while since we could both go in to the store. Our new apartment is nice but quite honestly its just too quiet!

We brought all our stuff in and started exploring. I quickly discovered that there seemed to be no closets except for a coat closet. So Jim attempted to put all of his dress clothes in that tiny closet. However, there is a nice tall mirror in our room and too my surprise its also the closet door to a really nice walk in closet. Jim immediately said Ava is going to love this.

Speaking of Ava: I called my mom to see how the girls were. She started this particular story by saying "the angels are around Ava and always protect her. Shes ok but I left the girls outside for a second and when I came back I couldnt find Ava.
Apparently she climbed up a ladder that was resting on the house. Mom said she climbed up the ladder higher than my moms head. Mom got her down and then somehow I think she climbed up something else outside. That girl will definitely keep you on your toes.

We miss the girls dearly but we are enjoying some alone time. I pray that keeping them doesnt kill my parents! Hopefully today we find the home of our dreams!
