A recap of the last week

We spent Christmas Eve with Jims parents and had a good time. On Christmas day the 4 of us opened presents and it was sucha fun time. We gave the girls a kitchen and Jim got them books and toys from Denver. (He had some extra time to shop!) He got me some beautiful earrings and a dress. I got him the Simpsons 9th season and some other things he picked out for himself while in Denver.

After the giftgiving which was over by 8am!!!, we packed our suitcases and car and headed for Branson. We initally didnt think we would make it for Christmas dinner but we had NO food at the house and NOTHING is open on Christmas dinner except gas stations and Indian Casinos!

We had a great time with my Moms sisters and all of my cousins. What surprised me the most was Olivia. Now being my child, she isnt a shy one but I had never seen her in all her glory. She played with everyone and was almost the social director. It was a blast for her as she presently has no one to play with!

The week flew by with a trip to Silver Dollar City (save that fun time for another post), a bowling experience, and outlet shopping! I think our wardrobes are already for the colder weather in Denver now!

It is such a great time to reconnect with family and find out different ways to pray for them. Thank you guys for making my Christmas awesome!
