My new Bible

I have really enjoyed reading my new Bible
Its the One year Bible so everyday the reading includes a portion of the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. The translation I bought was the the New Living Translation which really brings the Old Testament alive to me. Currently I am reading in Judges which has a lot of great stories in it. There is lots of blood and killing for sure but it definitely shows how much God loved the Israelites. I mean they messed up and God saved them. Then they worshipped idols and God saved them. It gets frustrating to read sometimes but I try to remind myself that no matter how much we mess up, if we come to God and confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins. He sent His only son to die for us! To me that is huge after losing my only son! I cant say that I was willing to give him up for anyone!

On to other things. .. Olivia is turning into a carbon copy of me. She tries to help Ava stay out of trouble. She says Come back here Ava. She was trying to get Ava to open the door this morning. Open door Ava! It is altogether funny!

I am so blessed!
