Happy Belated Mother's Day. . .

Yesterday I had a lovely Mother's Day with my girls and my parents and of course my husband too. Church was very good and then after church we had a picnic at the zoo. Sundays tend to be a long day for the girls anyway so they were troopers for sure! The weather was a perfect 79 degrees and all the animals were quite cooperative. We also got zoo passes for the rest of the year! I think the girls will like coming back often!

The one thing I didnt get to do that I have done every Mothers Day since I became a mother was visit Dylan at the cemetary. The last 2 years I have taken the girls there and been with all my children. He is buried in the St. Louis area where we used to live. But I still think of him often as he is the one that I was mommy to first! :)

And I always think and pray for mommies whos day might not been so perfect. Those who have gone through losing a child, those who so desperately want a child and cant and others who have lost their moms recently are ones high on my prayer list for the day!

My own mother is such an awesome woman! Even though its a little tough living with her presently it is fun all at the same time! I love you mom! And my mother in law is incredible too! She is so gracious, sweet and kind! I am so blessed to have married into her family!
