Hey There

Is this thing on? I know I haven't blogged in a while. When I start to do it or even think about it, I am overwhelmed.

Today I share with you the saga of Kindergarten. The saga really only exists in my mind. Here's the deal: I've had the mountain of paperwork to fill out since February. Unfortunately procrastination is a known family trait. I talked to the preschool moms about where Olivia would go to school and I would just go along with it. Until one day I came clean. I hadn't yet filled out the paperwork. The next question was "Are you still deciding where to put her?" Uh no, I am just a procrastinator.

This week my friend Susan asked me about it again. Susan is the type of friend I need. You know the one who teases you until you do it. I thought I was going to see her at a playgroup on Thursday so before that I hustled all the paperwork together and got my butt to the school. Funny enough, Susan wasn't there but I am so glad I did it.

I guess I didn't realize just how emotional kindergarten would be. I mean she's been going to preschool for 2 years. I guess it means that my baby is growing up.

On the flip side, I am ready for the girls to be back in school! Summer can be fun and it can be oh so long!
