Fireworks

We had a great time last night enjoying the Independence Day fireworks! This is not an actual picture that we took but there are said photos in a camera. We were with my parents, inlaws, sil, bil, neices and some family friends. My bil and neices so want to play with Olivia. She promptly says "No thank you" as she presses and digs her body further into mine! ouch! I have an Olivia indentation on my body!

I kept prepping Olivia for the fireworks all night long. They are loud but they are so pretty in the sky. So finally they started and at first she enjoyed them casually sitting on my lap. But after about the 2nd or 3rd blast she was again embedded into my body while her body shook! Poor baby! With Olivia you can always redirect her attention so I kept asking her what color is the next one going to be? Finally she started asking me that question so by the end of the show she was enjoying it! Good work by Mommy dont you think? On the way home she talked and talke and talked about the fireworks!

How did Ava handle it you ask? Didnt seem to phase her. She watched for a while and attempted to touch the sky with her pinwheel. She walked around and sat in different family members laps. Quite calm and collected.
